GameAgent Weekend Sale BLOWOUT!

Posted by Russ Looney
Either we at GameAgent have gone bat$#!t crazy, or we just really like you guys (or maybe a bit of both?).  Either way, everybody is in for a treat this weekend as we’re throwing out tons of deals and promos for you to enjoy!

QuakeCon 2010 logo

First off, we’re celebrating QuakeCon 2010 with a selection of sales on all of our id games!  Each remaining day of QuakeCon will see a different game go on sale for ONLY $6.50 for the day.  Here’s the schedule:

Next up is a deal that goes hand-in-hand with the QuakeCon sale!  Oftentimes when deciding between a digital copy of a game and a boxed copy of a game, the choice is pretty easy–why pay for shipping (and thus a delayed play experience) when you can get the game immediately for no charge?  Well, we’re aiming to make that choice a little bit harder this weekend with our FREE SHIPPING promotion.  Between now and the end of the day (11:59pm CDT) Sunday, August 15, all orders of $19.99 or more will receive free shipping!

You can mix and match games as you see fit; we have multiple games that sell for under $20, and games on special sale count, too!  We also have plenty of great games that sell for exactly $19.99, including Battlefield 1942 Deluxe (Mac), Civilization IV (Mac) and its expansions, PuzzleQuest: Galactrix (PC), and Homeworld 2 (Mac)!

Men of War PC on sale

That’s still not all we’re offering this weekend, though!  You can also grab the boxed version of the fantastic World War II RTS Men of War (PC) for only $6.50 (67% off)!  Grab the boxed version at a discount or the digital version at full price, and get the sequel Men of War: Red Tide (PC) for only $10!  You didn’t think those Men of War reviews were posted for no reason, did you? We’re really excited about our weekend promos, and we hope you guys are, too!  Let us know what you think, good or bad, in the comments.  And happy gaming!

On your Doom 3 page, it says “for Intel Macs only” but then the system requirements say PowerPC G4/G5. Which is it?

No offer to buy all three id games for Mac at once? $6.50 is a great price, but having to pay individual shipping on each at around $9 sours the deal. Or maybe even look into pushing the mac versions up to Steam :)

Hey, CS, we hear you. We know it’s a pain to pay for shipping, especially when the shipping costs more than the game! That’s actually one of the reasons we implemented our Free Shipping Promo this weekend; we’re hoping that will alleviate some of the pain. Granted, it’s only good on orders of $19.99 or more ($6.50 is indeed a bit short), but you can still get some great value from the combination of deals we have going on this weekend. Buying two of our id games (one on sale, one regular) will save you approximately $22.50 this weekend.

Moving forward, though, we will certainly take your recommendation into consideration! I can assure you that we’ll have these id games on sale again, and a bundle would be a great way to do it!
