It was a gutty performance in a game that will surely generate tons of discussion in the world of NCAA football over the next days (if not the next weeks or months), but in our first ever College Football Game of the Week, the Boise State Broncos defeated the Virginia Tech Hokies 33-30.  Boise State jumped out to an early 17-0 lead in the first quarter off of Virginia Tech turnovers and mistakes, though the Hokies fought back to take the lead, 27-26, going into the final quarter of the game.  Virginia Tech added a field goal in the fourth to make it 30-26, but Boise State struck back with a touchdown with just over a minute in left in the game to take the final lead of the game, 33-30. Welcome to GameAgent‘s new weekly promo, the College Football Game of the Week!  Each week, we’ll be picking two great potential discounts on some of our great games and one marquee college football game to decide which of the great deals will go live!  Each discount is represented by one of the teams in the chosen marquee football game.  The discount represented by the winning team will then go live the following week!

The Football Game

The game we’re picking this week is the match-up between the Boise State Broncos and the Virginia Tech Hokies.  The game will kick off on Monday, September 6, at 8pm ET on ESPN/ESPN3.

• If the Broncos win, then we’ll be rocking the Civilization IV deal starting Tuesday, September 7, and running it through Thursday, September 9.
• If the Hokies win, then we’ll be rocking the Call of Duty 4 deal starting Tuesday, September 7, and running it through Thursday, September 9.
